WHY SHOULD I USE A TRAVEL AGENT TO BOOK A VACATION?

As travel agents we often work with airlines, hotels, cruises, tour companies, and more for multiple clients over multiple years, and are able to negotiate better deals and access better discounts. My expertise and experience in various countries can enhance your travel, making it more enjoyable.

CAN YOU WORK WITHIN A CERTAIN BUDGET?

Yes, I work within any and all realistic budgets, and sharing all of your ideas and goals helps us immensely when making recommendations and suggested edits to travel plans.

DO YOU CHARGE A PLANNING FEE?

Yes, there is a fee for my vacation planning services. This is separate from the cost of the trip. Once I return your message to discuss my services and your interests, we'll see if there is mutual agreement in us working together.  You'll be asked to pay the fee before any planning is started, and I will work with you to design your trip until you're satisfied.

WILL YOU BE AVAILABLE TO US DURING OUR VACATION?

Yes,  I will respond to all messages in a timely manner while you're on your vacation, to help with issues, problems, or questions you might have.

DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Travel insurance is available and recommended to protect your travel investment. Many trips, such as tours and cruises, involve non-refundable funds paid months in advance. Travel insurance protects you from losing this investment. Perhaps even more important is the ‘during travel’ coverage and assistance that comes with the top-flight insurance companies we carry.

Trip interruption due to illness or unforeseen circumstances can be very expensive, and medical care abroad is often not covered by domestic insurance plans. Also, an increasing number of countries require proof of medical insurance prior to arrival.

HOW DO I CANCEL A TRIP?

Call me right away. If it’s after hours, please contact the next involved travel supplier (airline, hotel, tour operator, cruise line) to cancel any reservations you will not be able to use. If you purchased travel insurance, please contact the insurance company’s 24-hour line to start the cancellation process and ensure your maximum refund.
