ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Rocky Dimico, the owner and travel agent behind Flights and Fables. My journey into the world of fantasy travel began long before I started this business—growing up, I was captivated by books and stories about myths, legends, and lore. I’ve always had a deep love for fantasy, with The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter being among my all-time favorites. When I first saw Middle-earth come to life on screen, I was in awe of the world Peter Jackson and his team had created. Discovering that it was filmed in New Zealand made it an easy decision for me to add it to my bucket list, and when I finally made the trip, it exceeded every expectation.

It was during that adventure in New Zealand that the idea for Flights and Fables began to take shape. I wanted to share the magic and wonder of places like these with others, creating immersive experiences that transport people into the fantasy worlds they love.

The magic didn’t stop in New Zealand. The Harry Potter Studio Tour in London left such an impression on me that I had to experience it twice. My passion for all things fantasy has evolved into a growing list of travel adventures, each destination a new chapter in a much larger story. Some of my favorite experiences have included following in the footsteps of Vlad the Impaler in Romania, exploring the mysteries of ancient sites like Stonehenge and Newgrange, and diving into Viking lore across Scandinavia.
